Abstract:

Aim : to study the vatiations of sesamoids of the foot and their prevalence.

Materials and Methods : Four hundred and fifty X rays were recruited for this retrospective study.

Results : The variations of Hallucal seasamoids observed in the current study are medial bipartite hallucal sesamoid (2.8%), Lateral bipartite hallucal sesamoid (0.4%) cal sesamoid (0.2%), Medial and lateral bipartite hallu absence of hallucal sesamoid (2.4%)
