It may rarely arise from scar tissue due to previous abdominal surgery such as caesarean section and may present with abdominal pain. Histological features of decidual change are rarely seen. Here we present a case report of a 34 years old G3P1L1A1, 39+4 weeks pregnant with previous LSCS and hypothyroid who had a nodular thickening of previous surgical scar. Excision and histopathology confirmed the diagnosis of scar endometriosis with additional deciduosis.
<AbstractLanguage>English</AbstractLanguage> <Keywords>Scar endometriosis,decidualization,pregnancy.</Keywords> <URLs>
https://njbms.in/ubijournal-v1copy/journals/abstract.php?article_id=1751&title=SCAR ENDOMETRIOSIS WITH DECIDUAL CHANGE
</URLs> <References> <ReferencesarticleTitle>References</ReferencesarticleTitle> <ReferencesfirstPage>16</ReferencesfirstPage> <ReferenceslastPage>19</ReferenceslastPage> <References/> </References> </Journal> </Article> </ArticleSet>
